Big Wic

Big Wic is an American born hip-hop artist who comes from a region that has been coined  Virgin territory.

This is because there has not been one major artist to come out of the New England region ever.

In the early 2000s a premier hip-hop DJ took notice to this, and quickly snatched big wic a.k.a. wicked up and started premiering him on all of his mixtapes and playing his music on hot 97 in New York.

This DJ was none other than the late legendary 

DJ KaySlay.

 The more momentum we gained,the more DJs more radio  and more people took notice and got on board, until an unfortunate event landed  

Big Wic behind bars for over 10 years, and although this stagnated the plans, it was not the nail in the coffin.

Big continue to write thousands of songs, wrote three books, graduated college, earning a 4.0 GPA in business administration, and earning a paralegal degree with Blackstone career institution, an ultimately becoming a honorary inductee to the Phi Thetta Kappa honors Society.

All of this while staying in close contact with KaySlay, with plans to partner up as soon as Big Wic was released.

Unfortunately, three months before Big Wic was released in 2022 DJ KaySlay had passed.

Big Wic first  in 2023/2024 released an album that he and Slay had been speaking about while he was incarcerated,this album was (Lost Files)

 a collective of songs released and unreleased and exclusives  top-tier artists.

In the summer of 2025 

Big Wic released his self proclaimed hit record, (Lit Summa),and dropped two videos, one clean and one dirty for the same song.

This would mark the official return of 

Big Wic (Formally Wicked).

The song shook the underground, gaining spins on college and local radio,and hitting the 200,000 mark via streams and views collectively.

At the end of 2025 Big Wic set off the new year with his new single"CHEESECAKE"

Immediately commercial radio station hot 93.7 on board continuously spinning the record, 92.7 New York City  the record for play, hot 93.7 juice FM in Rhode Island requested the record for AirPlay,along with local  college radio.

The Video for Cheesecake has gained significant momentum as streams and views collectively have reached over the 100,000 mark in a short three week span.
